Join @TechSoup, @UNFoundation, @Climasphere, @GlobalDaily, @plus_socialgood and the #EarthToParis coalition for the October #NPTechChat Twitter chat on innovative solutions to help mitigate and stop climate change.
This December, world leaders are gathering in Paris for a landmark convening to complete a new global climate agreement – an extraordinary opportunity for the international community to rise to meet the threat of climate change. To achieve a world where everyone lives with dignity and opportunity – a vision leaders embraced in the global goals for sustainable development – we must take strong action on climate change.
Everyone has a role to play. As governments convene for the conference, civil society groups, businesses, exports, innovators and citizens will also gather to share climate solutions and to let leaders know that we care about the outcome of Paris. How is technology being used to measure and address climate change? What are some of the innovative solutions being brought to the table? How can we use new media to urge world leaders to commit to action?
A TechSoup Global project, #NPTechChat is a new monthly Twitter-chat series for social change activists that focuses on reducing barriers and increasing impact using technology around the globe brought to you with our partners at +SocialGood. We are excited to partner with #EarthToParis to help raise the profile, volume, and level of discussion and action in the drumbeat up to the COP21 in Paris.
Join us for this live Twitter chat on November 3, 2015 at 7:00 am PT, 10:00 am ET, 4:00 pm Johannesburg (UTC+2), 7:30 pm New Delhi (UTC+5.5).
